Each one exists because something was mildly annoying and nobody else seemed bothered. Pick the annoyance you recognise.

An RSS reader that learns what you actually read, then brews you the best twenty-five articles each day. The other nine hundred can wait.

A fuel gauge for your AI subscriptions. See how much quota you have left, and whether it’ll last until the next reset.

A quicker way to get your AI agent’s attention. Hit a hotkey, say what you want, carry on. It’ll nudge you when it’s done.

A tidy ledge for the menu bar icons macOS 27 couldn’t find room for, and a polite way to decide who gets the good seats.

How things are done round here

Not a manifesto. More of a note on the fridge.

One job each. If an app wants a second job, it gets a sibling instead.
Honest labels. Every app says what it won’t do. Usually on the front page.
No nagging. No dark patterns, no guilt trips, no “are you sure you want to leave?”
A person replies. Write to support and you get whoever built the thing.
